Aberdeen is a Brooklyn-based horn band known for its soulful melody-driven instrumental arrangements led by Brian Plautz. The band — featuring saxophones, trombone, trumpet, and often guitar, bass and drums — never ceases to fill a room with energy. Aberdeen's albums Downpour and Held Together showcase their massive, one-of-a-kind sound. Demonstrated during Aberdeen's 2019 U.S. State Department tour to Central Asia, Aberdeen's music is about community; a large collective of musicians with the hope of sharing its music to audiences throughout the world.
